Optimism

Optimism is an Ethereum Layer 2 that uses optimistic rollups to scale transactions while settling on Ethereum's security. Its Superchain vision connects multiple OP Stack chains — including Base, Mode, and Zora — into a shared infrastructure where sequencer revenue benefits all. Optimism runs a retroactive public goods funding model, rewarding projects that have already proven their value to the ecosystem. OP tokens govern the Optimism Collective, split between a Token House and a Citizens' House.
